Tis the season to jump in the kitchen and bake all the holiday treats you've been dreaming about since last Christmas season or maybe you are looking for some new recipes to add to your repertoire. Today we are sharing with you 5 new holiday treats that we are adding to into our celebration mix.
Holiday Treat #1: White Chocolate Cranberry Cookie
I don't know about you, but I am a sucker for the white chocolate and cranberry combo. So when I happened upon this fabulous recipe to take the "frosted" cookie appeal to a new level...I was all in. Roxana has given us the step-by-step recipe to make 2 dozen of these tasty treats in just 1 hour. Time to put your apron on....
Holiday Treat #2: Peanut Butter Oreo Truffle Cookie
I will admit that until last year, when the word "truffle" was involved...it kind of scared me off the recipe. After attempting to make peppermint truffles last year with huge success, I am now attempting a new truffle recipe each year - and this year it is this yummy combo: Peanut butter + oreo + cookie! Inside Bru Crew Life shows us just how easy this is and can even be a team effort.
Holiday Treat #3: Raspberry Cheesecake Bar
It's just not the holidays if you don't have some yummy cheesecake treats to partake in! Roxana hit another home run for me with this white chocolate raspberry cheesecake bar. Not only is it pretty, but it tastes amazing!!
Holiday Treat #4: Red Velvet Crinkle Cookie
In this past year, I have discovered my love for red velvet. I know, that I am a little late on that train, but I don't have much of a sweet tooth other then holiday gatherings...that was before I had a friend who is a pastry chef. Goodness! Cooking Classy takes things a little bit further then simple red velvet by adding in the crinkle presentation with some white chocolate morsels thrown in the mix. Sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Holiday Treat #5: Dark Chocolate Whoopie Pie with Peppermint Cream
Over the past while, I am seeing that the concept of whoopie pies are coming back in a big way. As a child I don't remember ever seeing these, but come to find out whoopie pies were/are one of my dad's favorite dessert treats...thus inspiring me to try Melanie Make's delicious recipe. Let's just say this has made the whole family a bunch of whoopie pie fans.
