After being in the wedding and event industry for over 10 years, I never really put much thought into the planning of my own wedding. I just wanted something small and intimate, no muss no fuss. I have been a bit of the anti-bride, not really wanting a bachelorette party or really doing anything that requires DIY.
One thing I can say is that I have made so many wonderful “friendors” over the years and when we talked about doing a “bridal shower inspiration shoot” which could then turn into my intimate bridal shower, I thought, "well, that sounds exciting!"
We wanted to show off one of our newest local venuelust members, The Sanctuary Estate. A private estate located in the exclusive neighborhood of Rancho Santa Fe, California. Our dear friend, Tam Ashworth, owner of Isari Design Studio had a vision of creating a vintage, boho balinese paradise. With planner and stylist, Catherine Bachelier Smith, these two ladies created magic.
With so many amazing vendors and talented vendors, not one detail was left out. From the boho lounge furniture to the exotic floral arrangements as well as the ridiculously delicious cocktail concoctions, fabulous food and desserts...it was all perfection.
All of which was captured by my talented friend, Paula Luna of lunaphoto. Here are a few sneak peaks with more professional photos to come.
