Babylonstoren, Franschhoek, South Africa - Accommodates up to 500 guests
Babylonstoren is the perfect farm setting. With its miles and miles of fresh produce, vineyards, a greenhouse restaurant, a tasting room, farm cottages and a farm shop, Babylonstoren has all the settings you could ever want in one property. You could have your ceremony on the farm followed by a greenhouse reception in the gardens. All the food and drink will come right from the farm's fields and vineyards.
Outside of crowded Los Cabos, up a long and bumpy dirt road, you will come upon an unexpected gem called Flora Farms. Flora Farms is a working farm that also has guest cottages, a fantastic restaurant and a farm shop. There are multiple event spaces including the gardens, the lawn and the orchards.
At first glance, Holman Ranch may not appear to be a farm at all. It has a stunning Italian-style villa, miles and miles of vineyards and an elegant atmosphere. In addition to the vineyards, Holman also has olive groves. The ranch produces its own olive oil and has a large vegetable garden.
Hewitt Hill Farm offers the quintessential Vermont wedding setting. The working farm sits on over 100 acres of beautiful New England countryside. There are two barns, an 11 bedroom estate and expansive lawns. Hewitt Hill is located just 15 minutes north of Woodstock, a cute Vermont town full of inns, B&B’s, shops, restaurants and more.
Los Poblanos sits amidst lavender fields and cottonwood trees. There are 20 guest rooms here. In the 1930's, Los Poblanos was a working, running dairy farm and now the 25-acre property is bustling with organic gardens, livestock, and greenhouses. Rio Grande Valley Cuisine is served at La Merienda, Los Poblanos on-site restaurant, as well as for our events and weddings. Chef Jonathan Perno, has been a semi finalist for the James Beard for the last two year and works directly with couples to create their custom menu. An organic farm-to-table breakfast is included for all the guests staying on the property. Bicycles are also available free of charge.
Harley Farms, Pescadero, California - Accommodates up to 60 guests
Every year for the holidays, we head over to Harley Farms to visit the goats and buy some of their amazing goat cheese. Most people who visit Harley Farms do not know that they have a stunning dining room on the upper level of their barn. While they do host farm-to-table dinners throughout the year, you can still rent the space for an intimate private wedding dinner for up to 60 guests. Pescadero is just minutes from Half Moon Bay, which has an array of accommodations for your guests.
Riverside Farm sits on over 700 acres of farmland. It has six barns, a working farm and an abundance of outdoor settings ideal for a fall wedding celebration. Riverside can accommodate up to 25 overnight guests on the property and 80 additional guests at nearby inns. The rustic charm of this farm makes it an ideal venue for a fall wedding.
Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse is a working wheat and sheep farm in the beautiful Cape Winelands region of South Africa. In addition to being surrounded by grain fields, pastures and picturesque mountains, Klip has its own nature reserve. Hosting a wedding in the fall will give you the best chance for spotting zebra, wildebeest and springbok.
Meadow Burn is a 590-acre dairy farm renowned for its artisan cheeses. The grounds feature heirloom flower fields, vegetable gardens, a variety of trees and picturesque meadows.
