We looked back at all of your requests over 2013 and at the many beautiful events you planned at our private estates. With the rise of rustic barn weddings and the hype over Great Gatsby inspired events, it was no wonder that we came up with the following big winning estates. Check out the list below!

1) Caballo Estate

The Caballo Estate topped the list for our most popular estate of 2013! Not only did our very own Northern California Locations Manager, Cassy, fall in love with this venue and host her own wedding here, we got so many requests for new brides for 2013 dates and 2014 dates. The Caballo Estate was the location for such diverse events in 2013 as rustic weddings, an elegant indian wedding and a corporate event party for a well-known Silicon Valley technology company. 2) Valentino Estate

The Valentino Estate is a personal favorite of many of  the Estate Weddings and Events team members in San Diego. Having held weddings and events here ever since the company first started, the Valentino Estate boasts features that make the setting truly unlike any other. Doubling as a beautiful ranch estate, this location located in Rancho Santa Fe, California (north San Diego county) has 16.5 acres of beautiful grounds that offer many photo opportunities. Brides enjoyed their ceremony by the lake with swaying willow trees and the reception on  the lawn right by the estate, where many lawn games could be played. 2) Cobble Close Farm

Cobblc Close Farm was a new estate we debuted in 2013 and quickly became the hot pick for East Coast brides looking for a historic location. Constructed in the 1900's and formerly owned by the Straus family, founders of Macy's department stores, this estate is a testament of American history! Grand archways and cobblestone walkways, graced by historic statues, fountains and trees, this estate is for the ultimate romantic wedding. 4) Cairo Estate

On top of a hill in Orange County, California in San Juan Capistrano, rests the beautiful Cairo Estate. Designed with larger than life artful iron gates and storybook style buildings, the Cairo Estate is for the most extravagant and posh brides. The Cairo Estate does not require much decor - equipped with strung lights over a courtyard and white draped walls in the ballroom space, the home itself is the perfect wedding canvas. With the increased interest in Great Gatsby themed events, many people found the Cairo Estate the best venue to make their Gatsby vision come to life. 5) La Bella Vida

La Bella Vida

La Bella Vida in Rancho Santa Fe, CA (north San Diego county) is a delightful setting best described as Californian Mediterranean. With overnight accommodations for up to 10 people, and a newly built lawn and wedding pavilion to bot, we camn see some very happy couples tying the knot at this backyard garden setting for 2014! Many San Diego brides looking for a garden setting with plenty of space and complete privacy have found their answer in La Bella Vida.
