Nashville {Music City} is the place  where you can go {pretty much all over the city} to hear the crazy talent of so many artists, musicians and songwriters play each and every day. There are so many fabulous districts within this great city. After living in Nashville for four years, I thought it only fair that I shed some light on the must do, see and foodie goodness around this iconic town....not too mention our latest venuelust:  The Cordelle.

What To Do

There are so many fun things to do and see while you are in Nashville. Downtown Broadway is a must experience! Two of my favorite spots {not to say they are the only good ones...cause the whole street is a blast} are The Stage for some solid honky tonk as well as classic cover song sing-along fun and Roberts Western World: home of traditional country music and brazilbilly!

Next is the new Pinewood Social! This space is a mix between coffee shop, meeting area, study space, restaurant, bar, bowling, bocce ball court and {deep breath} a pool area with a airstream bar. Yes, it definitely is as awesome as it sounds!

While you have experienced the downtown Nashville music scene, be sure to catch a show at the Bluebird Cafe. This space is known for being one of the world’s best listening rooms and has worldwide recognition as a songwriter’s performance space, "where the heroes behind the hits perform their own songs."

What To See

If you are going to Music City you must...and I mean must experience the Ryman, Grand Ole Opry and the Musicians Hall of Fame. The Ryman is known for being the cornerstone and rise of the modern-day genre of country music, known as the Mother Church of Country Music by Nashvillians. The Ryman’s famous stage is also known as the birthplace of Bluegrass.

The Grand Ole Opry, an American icon, is world famous for creating unique and memorable entertainment experiences for all ages. Also known as the “home of American music” and “country’s most famous stage.”

Also be sure to capture the historical side of Nashville by visiting the Parthenon which was built for the 1897 Centennial Exposition. Yes, this is a replica of the original Parthenon in Athens. Then onto one of the many plantations that hold memories of the civil war: Belle Meade Plantation

Where To Eat

If you didn't know, Nashville is a foodie city! Here is a short list that admittedly should be a LOT longer: Pancake Pantry, Loveless Cafe, Marché, Patterson House, Husk, Rolf & Daughters. This list gives you quite the spectrum for your taste buds.

Where to Celebrate

And finally, it is time to celebrate at The Cordelle. This beautiful space has all the southern charm you are desiring with the modern and rustic flairs that give even more depth to any gathering. Whether you are looking to have a wedding, reception, birthday party, art gala, release party or a corporate event...The Cordelle offers it all with the kitchen, Great Hall, The Victorian, Covered Patio, The Gardens, The Loft, Private Dressing Room and The Balcony.
