At EWE we're all about luxury, so when we heard about Glamping we got excited! For all of you out there that still don't know what we're taking about, Glamping is "glamorous camping" or luxurious camping. Imagine roasting marshmallows around a fire and stargazing without having to forgo the luxuries of a regular vacation. Glamping allows you to experience nature in style, so how can you set up your next Glaming trip?
How do I plan lodging for my Glamping trip?
First and foremost, Glamping certainly does not mean that you simply bring more supplies, whip out the cashmere blanket, and call it a day. Special Glamping services have unique tents and packages that set up the complete experience without you having to do any of the work because after all, this is a vacation!
We love Shelter-Co, a pop-up lodging service that caters to groups looking for the Glamping experience. They offer a ton of on-the-go campsites and special packages tailored to your needs and your particular group. Plus, they even do overnight camping accommodations for weddings and corporate events (Glamping theme wedding?).
You wouldn't believe the fabulous tents of Shelter-Co. With real mattresses topped with 400-thread-count bedding, side tables, and even area rugs, you'll think you are staying in a full-fledged hotel! We also love that their packages include games for the kids, a fully-stocked library, and lounge vignettes for seating up to eight people.
Where should I have my Glamping trip?
We've got this covered! Depending on your location and preferred type of environment we have some great private estates where you can set up camp.
If you're a horse lover and a fan of the great outdoors, Benton Ranch Estate in Temecula, California is calling your name! The ranch covers 30 acres of usable land and is complete with horse stables, adorable brass picnic tables, and even a historic gazebo. This estate is rustic yet fabulous!
Another great location for all you equestrian aficionados is the Caballo Estate located in beautiful Los Altos Hills, California. This private 11-acre estate offers state-of-the-art equestrian facilities, pastures, and even incredible views of the bay. The Caballo Estate is perfect for a weekend of glamping full of horseback riding, stargazing, ocean views, and fun games in plush pastures. Plus, since it is conveniently located to Silicon Valley, Palo Alto, and the Bay Area access is easy, even for those out of town guests.
Last but not least, Bear Flag Farm would make for an ideal glamping location. This popular estate is most commonly used for weddings and events; however, we think it could transform perfectly to a glamping site or even glamping inspired wedding. Surrounded by orchards, lavender fields, and vineyards, this estate encompasses all the best elements of nature. This estate is perfect for a glamping wedding because it combines refined romance with the great outdoors.
Weather you are having a luxe equestrian getaway or a romantic event among lavender fields, glamping is the way to go! Plus, when planning your glamping trip is so easy, there's no reason not to get out and explore the great outdoors in style!
