Throw the Ultimate Super Bowl Party
The San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens are competing for ultimate football glory this Sunday, February 3rd, 2013.
With the Super Bowl just days away, it's time to get started planning the ultimate party for your closest football buddies!
We've compiled a list of the best ideas to make your party a success.
1. Finger foods
Between all the action from the game, and great new commercials to watch, there isn't a moment to take your eyes off the screen.
Finger foods are a must have item...and you'll need lots of them!
Food Network has you covered with some of the best game-day recipes!
Some of our favorite snacks for the big game are nachos, wings, potato wedges, chips and salsa with guacamole, pizza, pretzels, cheese and crackers, etc.
Make sure you have them ready to be served by kickoff at 6:30pm Eastern/3:30 Pacific.

2. Specialty Beer
You can go out and buy Budweiser any time, but the Super Bowl calls for some special brews.
Purchase beer from the two cities competing for the Lombardi Trophy this year.
In this case, San Francisco and Baltimore.
Click the links to find breweries from those two cities.
Some brews may be harder to find at your local stores depending on where you live and how far they export, so you better start your search today!
3. Decorations

Real Simple has some great ideas that we'd like to share with you.
From AstroTurf coasters, wheat-grass centerpieces, to a table runner designed to look like a football field, they've got it covered.
Simple is better, so don't go overboard!
4. Games
As if watching the game isn't entertainment enough, you might want to have a few other games for your guests to participate in!
A. Have each guest guess the final score before the game even begins. The winner (or the closest guesser) can take home a special bottle of beer or a gift card for their favorite sports bar to watch next season's games.
B. Rate the commercials and guess which one(s) will make the biggest splash the very next day!

C. Play Super Bowl commercial bingo like this printable version on Style Me Pretty, or create your own based on announcements made throughout the game, i.e. "fumble," "sack," "touchdown," etc.
5. Location, Location, Location
If you're hosting the party, you better plan to have ample seating for your guests, and a great (and large) HDTV to watch from.
If you plan early enough, you can even rent an upscale private estate with a private screening room with leather lounge chairs like this one at the Malibu Valley Vista:

or this one at the Hollywood Grand Mansion:
