Landlocked Zambia might have you thinking there isn’t much to do here. However, the country wows with all the natural adventure that it contains, especially Victoria Falls. The world’s largest waterfall, measuring 354 feet and dropping into a mile long gorge sits partially on Zambia land. Aside from the falls, Zambia boasts mostly remote wilderness, untamed and filled with great wildlife diversity. Considered one of the highest bungee jumps in the world, couples can plummet 111 meters toward the Zambezi River. The colonial-era bridge marks the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. For four seconds of free fall, you will be right in front of the largest curtain of falling water in the world. Several companies offer the chance to bungee jump in such an iconic location like Shearwater Victoria Falls and Zambezi Safaris for $160 per jump.

The adventure doesn’t end with bungee jumping. Post jump, you can also take advantage of several other heart-racing activities like swimming in the Devil’s Pool. Located at the edge of Victoria Falls on the Zambia side, each year a natural infinity pool forms from mid-August to mid-January. While you must make a rocky walk and swim in the Zambezi River to reach Devil’s Pool, once you do, your heart will race as the water pulls you to the edge. The natural rock walls keep you from being carried away, but the pool still sends hearts racing.

Zipline Across the Batoka Gorge

Called the Bridge Slide, many couples select to zip line across the Batoka Gorge to round out their thrill seeking activities in Zambia. The zip line glides 300 meters from the Zambia side to the Zimbabwe side.
