Vintage Pastel Fairytale at the Valentino Estate
I think I speak for most women when I say that we've all dreamt of being a fairy princess when we were young. Blame it on the Disney movies we grew up on, but we can’t help ourselves. Maybe it is the classic love story we fall for, or perhaps we've always wanted to wear a gown to a formal ball. Whatever the case, we just can’t seem to get enough of it! So when we grow up (sort of) and plan our weddings, we want to create our own fairytale!
Today we are featuring an inspiration shoot which captures this fairytale theme. This tabletop inspiration shoot took place at the Valentino Estate in Rancho Santa Fe, San Diego. The backdrop is an incredibly romantic private pond surrounded by weeping willow trees. Can it get more fairytale than that?
This beautiful garden setting was complemented with a tabletop of delectable desserts, custom stationery, fresh florals and vintage ware in pastel tones of mint, pink, blush, blue and yellow.
The desert table is filled with sweets of all types, from Macarons, sugar cookies, mini cupcakes and more!
Labels and desert signs feature vintage inspired images of flowers and birds.
The soft and subtle colors and textures of the bouquet complement the beautiful gown.
Vintage china teacups, saucers, and cake stands complete the fairytale look.
The Valentino Estate provided the perfect backdrop for this vintage fairytale shoot. The columns and the rose garden remind us a bit of Beauty and the Beast.
