Calistoga is less than 30 minutes from some fantastic Napa Valley entertainment. Some sights and activities that you can see and do while you are in town include the Old Faithful Geyser, Napa Valley Wine Train, hot air balloon rides, bike tours, hiking trails, the petrified forest, casinos, wildlife preserves, the Sharpsteen Museum and a number of local art galleries.
Triple S Ranch was originally built in the 1800s. It was recently restored to its original appearance. This charming ranch is located just three miles west of Calistoga. The 12 acres of land are on a ridge, so guests get to enjoy expansive views of the surrounding hills and vineyards.
The 2,400 square foot Grand Victorian house at the Triple S boasts authentic period furnishings. The house has three bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as plenty of modern amenities like free wifi, a full kitchen, heating and air-conditioning.
In addition to the Grand Victorian, there are also 13 cottages where your wedding guests can stay. Guests can also enjoy the swimming pool and gym.
Your Ceremony and Reception at Triple S Ranch
The ideal location for your wedding ceremony is below the property's 175-year-old black walnut tree. This shady space overlooks the valley to the west. It is also an incredible spot to enjoy the sunset.
The restaurant at the Triple S is the perfect space for your wedding reception. The restaurant is located within an old dairy barn, which was built in the 1860s. The barn is shaded by a grove of redwood trees.
Up to 200 guests can be accommodated in this space. If you would like a dance floor, the capacity is 150. The restaurant has two antique bars, a deck and two stone patios. An outdoor wedding on the patio is also possible in the warmer months. The patio can comfortable hold about 200 guests.
The Triple S Ranch is located on a hillside high above the floor of the valley. Calistoga has a kind of micro-climate. Compared to the rest of Napa, temperatures tend to be cooler in the summertime, but warmer in the winter. The summer brings highs in the 80s and 90s. Winter days will have highs in the 60s.
Sonoma County Airport is the closest airport to the Triple S Ranch. The ranch is a quick 30 minute drive from the terminal. Sonoma County Airport has direct flights from San Diego, Los Angeles, Portland and Seattle.
If you prefer to fly into San Francisco International Airport, the drive is over an hour. However, you can get a glimpse of the city on your trip, and you can enjoy the experience of driving over the Golden Gate Bridge.
