Wedding weekend what to pack 3

So with my very own weekend wedding just weeks away, my checklist starts to dwindle and then adds right back up. Today, it's time to make a list that encompasses every wedding weekend {if you are having a winter wedding in Colorado then this certainly isn't the post for you}. Since I happen to be getting married in Mexico and in Mexico’s wine country this list should be helpful for all of our winery wedding couples as well as our destination wedding couples.

We have 3 days of festivities for our guests. Which include a welcome reception on Thursday, offsite rehearsal dinner on Friday, and the wedding on Saturday. We are offering wine tasting or golf as a day activity on Friday. I am not usually one to plan out my outfits, but you only get married once and this will be the one time in your life where you are the center of attention and all eyes are on you. In addition, it will take a bit of stress off you if you have it all mapped out.

For The Guests

wedding welcome bag

1. A weekend itinerary for all the rooms
2. Where to eat
3. What to do
4. Transportation details
5. A custom hashtag for your guests to share and capture
their perspective of your special weekend | day
6. A welcome gift or gift bag {we decided on a bottle of wine since
we will be getting married in wine country}
7. A custom canvas bag with snacks, water, hangover kits are
also a great idea.

A little bit of Advice

If you plan out exactly what you are going to wear for each day, and each event then you save time and money and will avoid over packing. there is no reason to bring 10 dresses “just in case” Think about your schedule and your events and outline them all and start writing down exactly what you need. Then you can shop for the specific items you don't have rather than going out and buying a bunch of stuff you don't need.

Your Turn....
