Armação dos Búzios, Brazil - Insólito Boutique Hotel

Located in the beach town of Armação dos Búzios (about 100 miles from Rio de Janeiro), the Insólito Boutique Hotel is a tropical paradise. The area has 26 beaches along its five mile peninsula. This area became popular thanks to French actress, Brigitte Bardot, who travelled here in the 1960s and it quickly became one of her favorite destinations.
The hotel has four main buildings, each consisting of individually designed rooms.
The restaurant is known for it’s fresh seafood menu and locally sourced ingredients. The Bar at Insólito is one of a kind. It was carved from a single tree from the Brazilian rainforest, which was estimated to be 1,000 years old at the time when it fell.

When To Visit The Area:
The best time to visit would be during the low season, which is from March through May and again from August through October. March can be a bit wet, so April and May would be ideal. High season is November through March and again from June and July when Brazilian schools are on break. December is the busiest month with the most amount of tourists as well as higher prices.

Patagonia, Chile - Dos Lagos Lodge

For ultimate privacy, the Dos Lagos Lodge can only be reached via helicopter or boat, and is exclusively yours during your stay. The location is perfect for groups that want to explore all that Patagonia has to offer. Surrounded by Chile’s Cerro Castillo National Reserve, you are truly able to embrace the natural beauty of this stunning landscape.

When To Visit The Area:
The springtime can be the best time to visit, between September through November. The heavy tourist season is between November to March, which is their summer season. Avoid travelling during their winter season (June through August) as many attractions will be closed. However, if you are an avid skier, winter may be a great opportunity for you to experience a different side of Patagonia.

Mendoza, Argentina - Cavas Wine Lodge

The Cavas Wine Lodge is located in Western Argentina at the foot of the Andes mountains and surrounded by 54 acres of vineyards. Cavas Wine Lodge offers both a private adobe villa(s) as well as accommodations in the Spanish Colonial style lodge. Enjoy panoramic views from your room, which all face west to maximize your sunset view.

When To Visit The Area:
Mendoza is beautiful all year long, with the summer months being the high season (December through February). Some summer days can reach a high of 104°F.
Late spring (October through December) and fall (April through June) will have a bit cooler temperature and fewer tourists.
