About 440 Seaton

440 Seaton is a warehouse event space in the heart of Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. The interior of this venue is filled with timeless urban style and an amazing ambiance. 50-foot ceilings provide a sense of spaciousness and grandeur while wood beams and exposed brick walls bring elements of historic charm and rustic-retro coolness. Originally built in 1913, this century-old event venue was an indoor lumberyard before it was renovated. Despite the thoroughness of the upgrades, many of the original building features were restored and retained. In addition to the interior spaces, there is a rooftop area that overlooks LA's modern-day Downtown. Unlike many urban venues, which require guests to park on the street, 440 Seaton has a fenced-in parking lot that event attendees can use. ...

The Great Hall showcases 440’s timeless atmosphere and spaciousness. It stretches for 10,000 sq. feet under the vaulted ceilings of a bright atrium. For concerts or other casual performances, the Hall can host 1,700 guests (standing only). For a lecture, meeting or movie screening, Seaton can hold 1,400 people (in a row-seating layout). For a wedding reception or formal event, 600 people can be accommodated (in a formal table-seating layout). A stage and power source are available upon request, and there is plenty of parking in the fenced lot adjacent to the building. 440 Seaton can also provide catering and other event services. Or, they can work with the vendors and staff that you choose for your special event. A catering prep area is located onsite. The entry-way features a separate lounge area. In addition to weddings and events, this space can also be used for film production and photography shoots.
