About Los Poblanos

Los Poblanos is a one-of-a-kind destination in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico. Set amidst fields of lavender flowers and shaded by stately cottonwood trees, this gem of the Southwest is one of America’s most distinguished inns. The estate was designed in 1932 by John Gaw Meem, an architect who is often referred to as the “Father of the Santa Fe Style.” The original owners also commissioned local artists to add their masterpieces to the estate. These unique features give Los Poblanos an unmatchable atmosphere. All of the art and design elements have been lovingly cared for over the past 80 years, and they are still in pristine condition. These unique features give Los Poblanos an unmatchable atmosphere. All of the art and design elements have been lovingly cared for over the past 80 years, and they are still in pristine condition. There are 20 guest accommodations on this luxurious 25-acre property. Each room and suite offers a classic New Mexico vacation experience with wood burning fireplaces, original artwork created by Southwestern artists, hardwood floors, antique furniture and carved ceiling beams. En suite bathrooms are stocked with artisan lavender-based spa products. Rooms and suites are located either in the Historic Inn building or in the stucco dairy ranch-style building known affectionately as the Farm. All rooms have stunning views of the adjacent flower fields and the gardens of Los Poblanos. Some of the Farm suites have private patios, while some of the historic suites in the Inn open onto a beautiful garden courtyard. Los Poblanos provides guests with plenty of extras. Wi-fi is free throughout the property. Guests have use of bicycles, and they are free to enjoy the salt water pool and state-of-the-art fitness center. Most suites have minibars and wet bars. Guests receive a full gourmet breakfast free of charge each morning, and they also can enjoy priority reservations for the main restaurant at Los Poblanos, La Merienda. This onsite eatery, which serves creative dishes made from fresh, local ingredients, is open each evening from Wednesday through Sunday. In fact, most ingredients are grown onsite in the organic gardens and farm fields of Los Poblanos. The evening meal is accompanied by beverages from an impressive wine and beer list. Los Poblanos is an ideal location for a special event. Meeting rooms and workshop areas are readily available for conferences and corporate retreats, and catering can are also be provided. Weddings can be celebrated at the estate’s La Quinta Cultural Center. Special packages are offered for both a reception and ceremony. Holidays are marked with special celebrations featuring cultural events and feasts created by the Los Poblanos culinary team. What to do Savor a delicious breakfast made with ingredients from the onsite farm. Then, come back in the evening for a memorable dinner at La Merienda. Take advantage of the free bicycles offered to all guests and cruise up and down the Rio Grande, one of America’s most-famous rivers. Soak in the unmatchable atmosphere. Los Poblanos is located in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, just a few footsteps from the banks of the majestic Rio Grande.
