The Cordelle boasts grand Victorian architecture and the tangible romance of the steamboat era. Sitting on historic Rutledge Hill in the heart of Nashville, this spacious events venue was built in the late 1800s. Recently restored to its former glory, the estate has hosted weddings, corporate events, art festivals, fashion shows, special galas and community gatherings. The Cordelle has a premium location. It offers great views and a sense of secluded exclusivity.  At the same time, the famous hotels, restaurants and music venues of Nashville are just a short walk away. The Music City Convention Center is only a mile from the estate's front gate. The Cordelle is one of the oldest remaining buildings in the area, so it is the obvious choice for anyone who wants their event to have a timeless atmosphere. There are several unique events spaces inside the Cordelle property. The backdrop of every event is the Victorian. This renovated building is filed with ambiance and stories. The original owners, who made their fortune producing cure-all oils, thrived in this home when the nearby Cumberland River was teeming with steamboats. Today, the Victorian has 1,000 square feet of event space that can be used for weddings and other celebrations. The adjacent Great Hall has the same sense of historic romance. This airy space can be used for either stand-up or formal sit-down events. This halls opens onto the patio and garden. Tall windows provide plenty of natural light, and the open layout makes the hall seem perpetually uncrowded, even when it is filled with guests. Next to the Great Hall and Victorian is the Loft. This private space can be used as a bridal suite or green room. Or it can be used to entertain special VIP guests. The Loft has its own private suite as well as a full wet bar and private dining area. Thanks to the abundance of natural light, these rooms are perfect for those special pre-wedding photographs. One of the most impressive areas of the Cordelle is actually located outdoors. The garden offers a glimpse of rural Tennessee. Shaded by a century-old Hackberry Tree, this outdoor space boasts 4,000 square feet, enough room to host a large tented event. Even if you do not use the garden during your celebration, your guests will certainly enjoy catching the evening breeze from the covered patio that sits just off of the Great Hall.
